Helpful information when renting an East Coast vehicle at Sydney Airport

Renters are required to provide their valid and current driver’s license at the time of collection of the rental vehicle. International drivers are required to bring a copy of their national driver’s license written in the Roman alphabet. If the national license is not written in the Roman alphabet an International Driver Permit, IDP, is required as a supporting document.

Additional drivers may be added to the rental agreement provided that they meet the requirement of presenting the necessary documentation. If the additional drivers are not present at the time of collection they may be added by contacting East Coast. The renter will be asked to email a copy of the additional driver’s licenses for verification purposes. Once confirmed the additional drivers may drive the rental car. An additional fee is applicable for this service.

Returning your rented East Coast vehicle at Sydney Airport

Vehicles are to be returned in the same condition as collected. Please confirm instructions with East Coast.
